Gilles Coccoli

Gilles Coccoli, Managing Director of PrePay Solutions, a UK based prepaid solution provider, is dedicated to leading innovations in prepaid.

Coccoli, who speaks six languages, boasts more than a decade of experience in the international prepaid market; an almost unrivalled position from which to offer his expertise and insight. An internationalist, he spent his younger years living in France, Brazil and New York, which prepared him for a global career in prepaid.

Coccoli graduated from Lycée Français de New York in Manhattan and earned a computer science degree from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a private, research-based university in Troy, NY. He completed his graduate studies with a major in International Business Management (HEC) in France. Coccoli previously worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen in Paris.

After completing his studies, Coccoli joined Accor Services (now Edenred) in 1993 in Brazil, where he contributed to modernizing the business’ operations from paper-based voucher programs to prepaid cards. He worked with small distributors, service providers and financial institutions to adapt traditional business models to the evolving market. He then moved to the company’s Turkey office, where he spent 18 months streamlining processes before being appointed in 2009 as Managing Director of PrePay Solutions.

Coccoli has led the company with groundbreaking developments and product solutions in the virtual card space while working with globally recognized brands. He is involved with every aspect of prepaid from gifting to security, to control and integration.
