2011 is predicted by industry insiders to be the year when innovations in payment are set to affect us all, and just a month in we have already had some exciting announcements. When it comes to payment methods, most people think in terms of paying now (cash, cheque and debit) or later (credit and loans). The third way, that is set to take off, is before (prepaid or prepay). Prepaid is currently little understood as a term, but experts believe that will change this year, as business and consumers start to understand how it can solve their problems and make life easier.
